Inverurie and District Men's Shed (IDMS) is a self-funding charity.

Our day-to-day running costs are supported by donations from members and augmented by our own fund raising efforts.

How to Join

If you are considering membership of our Shed, please come and visit us, have a look around, meet some of our members and have a chat and a cup of tea or coffee.

You will be made most welcome.

The Shed is open on Mondays and Thursdays from 10:00am to 4:00 pm

Alternatively, you can complete the Application Form and send it to us by post.

Committee of Trustees

Inverurie and District Men's Shed (or just called The Shed) is a registered charity and is run by the members themselves. There is no one in charge. All have an equal say.

The Shed is run by a Committee of Trustees who have been elected by the members.

One of the main aims of the Committee is to ensure the provision of a friendly, welcoming environment for men to congregate.

The responsibilities of the Trustees include:

The Charity Trustee duties under the 2005 Act set out a broad framework including the legal requirements that all charity trustees must work within.

Members are eligible to join the Board of Trustees.
