10-September-2014 - Cook-Off Success

Inverurie and District Men's Shed Cook-Off Success

Four of our intrepid and fearless volunteers, Graeme Shepherd, John Miller, Archie Peebles and Chris Burt, entered the white heat of the kitchen to vie against the Fly Cup in the great Cook-Off as part of the "Dinna Cook, Winna Cook, Canna Cook" event. The exact dish they cooked shall remain nameless but after a tasting session and a show of hands from the audience, the Men's Shed Cooks were somehow voted the unanimous winners.

It was an extremely enjoyable night so the Jamie Olivers of this world may have to look to their laurels to fend off competition from our gastronomic providers!!!

Congratulations to our volunteers.
