The place for men to meet, make and refurbish various items, share interests and expertise, at the same time helping our community.

Upcoming events

Every Monday and Thursday 10am to 4pm – Inverurie and District Men’s Shed Harlaw Way premises are open for members to come along and work on projects or just socialise with others. Prospective members are encouraged to come along and see the facilities and activities that are available.
Tool Sale – When the Shed is open, anyone can come along and look at the good selection of tools that are available. No reasonable offer refused! The Picture Gallery gives a selection of tools that are available.

Wednesday 03-June-2026 11am to 1pm – Inverurie and District Men’s Shed Harlaw Way premises are open for members to come along for a cup of tea or coffee, have a chat or maybe a game of cards.

Saturday 13-June-2026 9am to 1pm (every second Saturday of the month) Inverurie Farmers Monthly Market featuring produce from the local area. Inverurie and District Men’s Shed will have a stall at this event featuring items made by Men’s Shed members and also a good selection of hand tools available.

A new web site is being developed and members are encouraged to contribute short articles on latest news, events, projects and photographs about the Men’s Shed.

Friendship and Sharing

Inverurie and District Men’s Shed (IDMS) is a space where men can come together to socialise, work on projects, and exchange skills. It provides a welcoming environment for men from diverse backgrounds and ages to collaborate on personal and community initiatives. It is a volunteer run charity where men, over 18, can meet, make things in the workshops and craft areas and share interests.
Unwind with a cup of tea or coffee in the social area, and contemplate various topics of the day, whether they are light hearted, humorous, technical, or focused on finding solutions.

Opening times:
Monday: 10:00am – 4:00pm
Thursday: 10:00am – 4:00pm
During winter months, on some Wednesdays, Soup and a chat and/or social activities such as card and board games may be available between 11:00am and 2:00pm.
