IDMS Facilities

There are spacious areas at IDMS for the various activities that take place. A good selection of tools for woodwork, wood turning, metalwork, model making, 3D printing, laser cutting and engraving with ample storage space for items related to the projects.
The open spaces such as the social area and craft areas can be used for the art, music and book group. Any member is encouraged to start up new interests within the Men’s Shed.
The facilities may also be made available for other groups.

A wide range of items are produced at IDMS as there is a wide range of knowledge and experience from the members. These skills range from engineering, electrical, electronics, building trades, project management, office work, computing, information technology, offshore work experience to name a few.

Garden bench refurbishment

One of the main sources of funding for IDMS is the refurbishment of garden benches. If you are interested in getting a garden bench refurbished, contact IDMS. If you no longer need your garden bench, consider donating it to IDMS for refurbish it for a new home.
